Yesterday evening it was derby day at Hertingfordbury Park as St Margaretsbury visited Hertford Town and it was a well contested game between two good sides with some good football on display. Hertford had first team player Mark Summers up front who is one of the many players to join from Hoddesdon Town recently. He scored 59 goals for St Mags during a spell with the club from 2013 to 2015 and got 36 goals for Hoddy last season. He made it 1-0 just after half time poking the ball home from close range after some good work on the left hand side. The away side pushed hard for an equaliser and it was Harry Spicer who got it with a superblyplaced strike from outside of the box to the delight of the St Mags representatives amongst the decent crowd of 72 people. They had a chance to win it when a corner from Jasper Graham-Jacobs (JGJ) was headed just over the bar from close range. JGJ looked impressive going forward on the left hand side of midfield with good pace, flare and skill - definately a player to look out for. He is the St Mags number 11 in the below video who are playing in black and red shirts.
