In 16/17 Hampton qualified for the play-offs as Poole Town (5th) and Hungerford Town (6th) were excluded but they lost to Ebbsfleet Untied at the semi-final stage. In the 17/18 season they got to the play-off final and drew 1-1 with Braintree Town only to lose 4-3 on penalties.
* The highest place in The National League achieved was Maidstone is 16/17 who finished 14th just below Wrexham.
* So the omens are good for Worthing in the 22/23 season as only one title winning side in the last eight seasons hasn't made the play-offs at step two at least once - Billericay Town were relegated this season after finishing bottom of the table. Only The Blues and Whitehawk will not play at Step Two or higher for the 22/23 campaign.
